MY personal Domain Registration

If haven’t already noticed my blog bookworm cafe has turned into a PR 4 blog, all thanks to the Google’s latest page rank update. Those of you who are not very familiar about PR, it is the Google way of grading different sites and very now and then all the websites have their pr updated. PR is said to matter a lot if you are trying to attain higher SERPS or aiming any particular Niche.

Now I have thought of making my blog much better as Google is giving it importance, firstly i asked for some help from my readers and many of them suggested that i switched to a personal domain. Switching over to own domain has a lot of advantages like having the database control and can be backed up when ever you want, hence making your blog crash proof. Premium features like POp3 and multiple user accounts are currently not supported by wordpress.com and hence having my blog being mapped to another domain would help me a lot and also further improve the experience of my beloved readers. Domain mapping is very easy to do and the only you are required to do is to get a domain registration with a proper hosting account, I have mine with bytehost.com. There service is cheap but highly reliable. Now if you think domain registration is another headache then you are wrong many sites now a days provide domain registration for less than $10 /year for all kind of domains like .com, .uk, .org, .edu,.net etc. Multiple year registration is also allowed, discounts on bulk purchase and coupons are also available for regular buyers. Payment are accepted by credit cards as well as Paypal.

I urge that all of you who are serious about their blog and love doing blogging should transfer their blog to personal domains as it has immense advantages and perks.
